Who We Are
U R Able Cap LLC is a Black woman–owned holding company founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by Sherri Holland. Built on the belief that every person — no matter their circumstances, their grief, or their starting point — is capable of creating something that outlasts them.
The name isn't a slogan. It's a conviction.
You. Are. Able.
The Why
In 2023, Sherri lost two of the most important souls in her world — her dog Roscoe, her companion of 13 years, and her oldest child and only son, taken at just 34 years old on the streets of Philadelphia.
Grief has a way of making everything go quiet.
But in 2024, in one of those quiet moments, she heard her son's voice. Clear as day. What about starting that business? They had talked about it for years. She thought they had more time. They didn't.
So she started — not in spite of the pain, but because of it. Because he believed she was able. Because she finally believed it too.
U R Able Cap LLC is the company they were supposed to build together. Every brand under this roof carries that story forward.
What We've Built
Held & Here by SDH is our first brand — and it began exactly where the name suggests. With things you hold. With moments you don't want to let go.
Available now on our Shopify store, Held & Here offers personalized keepsakes for grief, for celebration, for love that doesn't have an expiration date. Necklaces. Bracelets. Pillows. Mugs. Memorial pieces and milestone gifts — all made personal, all made with intention.
